Based in East Dunbartonshire, Donohoe has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and caring individual to join their small dynamic team as Support Workers on a permanent basis. We have various contracts available.

Donohoe is home to 4 individuals with complex support needs. We use a variety of moving and handling aids to assist in day to day living, so a level of physical fitness is required from any perspective team member. The people we support enjoy being active in their local community and have maintained strong links with family members and friends. Our team is adaptive towards meeting changing support needs and in exceeding the expectations placed upon them.

As a Support Worker you will deliver high quality person-centred support, empowering the people we support to make choices, live independently and achieve their goals. You will liaise and work in close partnership with families and the multi-disciplinary team. You will also be responsible for reviewing and maintaining Personal Support Plans, including undertaking risk assessments as appropriate.

The successful candidate will have effective communication skills, the ability to use their initiative and build effective working relationships with a ‘Can Do’ attitude. If you have a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 7 (SVQ Level 3) then that’s great! If not, then don’t worry as we will invest in you by enrolling you with our award-winning Training Academy, which will giving you the skills and qualifications you need.
