Cornerstone is one of Scotland's largest charities with over 35 years experience providing care and support for adults and children with various support needs all over Scotland. Our aim is to make a real difference to the people we support by enabling them to enjoy a valued life.

As our services continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, positive and motivated Support Workers to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis, with relief positions available.

Lower Arnha is a housing support service for four tenants. We support residents to attend social functions, aid with personal shopping on their home days and making sure all their routines and needs are met as per guidelines to enable residents to lead a valued life.

The gentlemen at Lower Arnha, are supported 24hrs a day so there are a variety of shifts including sleepovers. Three of the men are supported with their personal care routines on a daily basis. One of the men is supported to a wood yard work placement four days a week. Staff remain with him during his time at the wood yards

The successful candidate will have good communication skills and the ability to follow clear routines and guidelines. You will be supporting residents throughout the night, whilst working as part of a team this post undertakes mainly lone working.
