We've got an exciting part-time (30 hours) *female Support Worker opportunity to join our Blackwood Housing Support team. This is a really exciting time to join the team as they are about to start their journey to becoming a self-organised team early next year. When you complete your training and become a Team Member within the self-organised team setting you would then qualify for our new pay grade of £10 per hour.

Our team provide support for two ladies with complex support needs within their own residential setting. As part of our team you'll be supporting day to day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care, moving and handling and medication. With both ladies enjoying being part of their local community, we're looking for you to be enthusiastic about participating and supporting them with their hobbies and interests which include swimming and going for walks. We'll also need you bring a creative approach to accessing community resources and increasing social opportunities.

As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns for this service include early mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, waking nights and public holidays.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and have a willingness to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare.
