Make 2019 your best year yet! If you’ve been looking for a rewarding career change and want to join an organisation that will help you become your best self – look no further! Cornerstone is recruiting female* Support Workers for our Community Support service in Glasgow for 30 hours per week.

Our Community Support team provides a broad range of community-based care and support services within the local community. We provide services for people of all ages, from children and young people to older adults, and includes care-at-home, learning disabilities, lifelong health conditions and mental health and addictions.

Experience within a caring or supportive role would be preferable, but is not essential. As an organisation, we are most interested in your values and who you are as a person! You’ll receive all the training you need through our award-winning Training Academy, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ qualifications.

As travel will be required throughout the local area, a full UK driving licence is preferable.

Our teams provide flexible, person-centred support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week; so, if you’re successful in joining our team, you should expect to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as part of your rota.

If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.

* For this position, female is an Occupational Requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010 to assist with personal care.

If your application is shortlisted, you’ll be invited to our Recruitment Day on Wednesday 30 January.

A career with Cornerstone is more than a job. Apply today and begin your journey with us.
