Are you looking for an exciting new challenge where you can make a difference to the lives of others and go home every day with a huge amount of job satisfaction? Yes? We're looking for someone like you!

Cornerstone is one of Scotland's largest charities with over 35 years experience providing care and support for adults and children with various support needs all over Scotland. Our aim is to make a real difference to the people we support by enabling them to enjoy a valued life.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Support Workers in our rapidly expanding team in Elgin and surrounding communities on a part time, permanent basis (20 and 25 hour contracts available).

Across Moray, our service provides individualised support to build self-confidence and independence, helping people to get the most from life. You will support individuals to encourage independence within their homes.

You will work on rota, moving around a variety of locations during the day to visit different people we support with a range of tasks from support with physical and personal care as well as help with meals, housework, medication and day to day living. Shifts will be daytime, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

A clean driver's license is preferred for this post but not essential.

The successful candidate will have effective communication skills, the ability to use their initiative and build effective working relationships with a ‘Can Do’ attitude. You will ideally have your SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards this. You will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.

Sound interesting? Then we would love to hear from you.

In April 2017, Cornerstone entered a transformational stage to begin our new Strategic Plan, Local Cornerstone. Over 3 years, we look to revolutionise social care delivery by introducing self-organised teams; not only improving the quality of the support we deliver but benefiting colleagues with greater autonomy and more professional development opportunities. We strive to change the way the health and social care sector is viewed in society and want our colleagues to be truly valued for the highly-skilled, life-changing work that they do every day.
