Welcome to a different kind of care role. As we lead the way in delivering care and support we're looking for honest, caring and creative individuals to join our Sheltered Housing team based at St Peter’s Court Aberdeen as a Team Member.

Our Sheltered Housing services run 365 day of the year and include public holidays, Christmas and New Year and works a two week rotational pattern, but due to the nature of the job flexibility is required! Shifts are 8.00am to 1.00pm, rotating between Thursdays/Fridays one week and Saturdays/Sundays the other week.

As a Team Member you will be responsible for providing a housing support service to people we support, which are predominately people aged 60+, and maintaining a safe living environment for their wellbeing, in accordance with Cornerstone’s polices and procedures and regulated with the Care Inspectorate, along with the National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.

As a valued part of our team you'll help us to:-

* Adopt a person-centred outcomes focused approach to help the people we support in their day-to-day life, whilst also promoting their independence & choice.
* Carry out regular operational safety checks at least every quarter on emergency alarm systems in individual properties, communal areas and pennants issues to people we support.
* Provide morning calls to people we support, checking everyone is safe and well, visiting them in their homes and promoting social inclusion.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare.
