We would like to welcome someone to join our team who shares equal enthusiastic personality to support our ladies at Huxterstone, by promoting and maintaining an active lifestyle in a person centered way on a part-time, permanent basis. Our aim is to make a real difference to the people we support by enabling them to enjoy a valued life.

Based in Kingswells, Huxterstone provides 24hr staff support accommodating 4 ladies with various levels of additional support needs. All ladies require assistance with Personal Care needs on different levels ensuring they are encouraged to maintain there independence as much as possible with staff supervision.

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively also happy to adapt and develop to new ways of communication to meet the requirements of individuals. Helpful but not a requirement, someone who can already understand and use basic sign language/Makaton skills. The ladies just love to keep active so getting out and about in the Service Vehicle as much as possible whether a cup of tea fine piece, attending Activities Fellowship Groups, disco’s, visiting family and friends, attending Drama/Keep Fit Groups.

As a Support Worker, we’ll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction. No two days are ever the same. You’ll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of others every day, helping them to reach their goals and play an active role in their local communities.

We’re dedicated to providing the best around the clock support possible, so shift patterns do include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, waking nights, weekends and public holidays.

Driver’s license is preferable but not essential.
