As a Support Worker, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports five individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home. Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day to day needs which include shopping, finances, cooking, appointments, personal care and housework.

With all five individuals enjoying being active and part of their community, we're also looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative about participating in and supporting them with their hobbies and interests which include music, sensory activities, reading stories, arts & crafts, going for walks and swimming.

Although experience in a caring or supportive role would be great, it's not essential, we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you all the training you'll need; we'll even support you to gain your SVQ qualification too!

A job at Cornerstone is more than just a job. You'll make a difference every day, be part of a great team, learn lots of new skills and be encouraged and inspired to reach your potential. What are you waiting for? Apply today! We'd love to hear from you.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take part in a Cornerstone Chat by video on 1st December 2020.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
