Support Worker

Location: Dundee - Community Support Team
Vacancy Reference Number: 4459
Salary: £18,860 - £18,860 per annum (part time pro rata)
Closing Date: 24 Feb 2021, 23:59

Are you looking for a rewarding new part-time job? Look no further, our amazing #TeamDundeeCS is growing so we're on the lookout for Support Workers to join us on a part-time (10, 16 or 20 hours and relief basis).

As a Support Worker, we'll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction. No two days are ever the same. You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities and additional support needs in YOUR local community.

In just one day you'll be going home knowing that you've made a huge difference to the lives of around four individuals, what can be more rewarding than that. Your support will enable the individuals we support to not only maintain their independence and continue to live in their own home, you'll also help them to play a more active part of their community too (once current restrictions start to ease).

Although it would be great if you have experience in a caring or supportive role, it's not a deal breaker. We recruit on values and transferrable skills, it's not about what experience and qualifications you have, we'll invest in you by giving you all the training you'll need. We'll even support you to get your SVQ qualification too.

All we need you to bring is:-

* Great communication skills
* A caring attitude
* A positive approach to learning
* To always seek to go above and beyond what's expected
* Confidence in the use of technology

Shift patterns will fall between the hours of 0730-2200 hours and will include split shifts and weekend working on a rotational basis.

Already imagining yourself as part of our team? Apply today! We'd love to hear from you.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a Cornerstone Chat by video on 4th or 5th March 2021.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
