We are looking for several female* Support Workers to join our busy Housing Support service in Pollokshields, Glasgow for 30 hours per week.

The service provides support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week; so, if you are successful in joining our team, you will be required to work the following shifts as part of your rota: 8.00 am to 8.00 am (sleepover), 8.00 am to 8.30 pm and 8.00 am to 5.30 pm.

As Support Worker within our Pollokshields service, you will be part of a small, friendly team who provide support to three ladies with complex health and support needs, including learning disability, cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The people we support require assistance in all aspects of daily living, including personal care, preparing meals, administering medication, shopping, light household duties and to pursue their hobbies. The people we support love going shopping, visiting the cinema, bowling and arts and crafts and getting outside into the sensory garden at the service and doing some gardening.

The ladies we support love getting out and about and we are fortunate enough to have a mobility car at the service. So, a full, clean UK driving licence would be preferable; however, we will not disregard a strong application if you do not have a driving licence.

- compassionate, understanding and patient.
- able to build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with lots of different types of people.
