Are you looking for an exciting new challenge where you can make a huge difference and go home every day with a huge amount of job satisfaction? Yes? We're looking for someone like you!

Our Cowdenbeath team are on the look out for a caring, motivated, flexible and creative colleague to join them on a fixed term 16 hours per week basis to cover maternity leave. If you’re successful in joining our team you will work one 16 hour shift per week plus a sleepover.

As Support Assistant, you will be providing support for a young man in a residential setting. Your main aim will be looking after his day to day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care and medication. With him enjoying an active social life within the local community, we would be looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative about participating and supporting him with his hobbies and interests.

Our team really pride themselves on working together to make a really positive difference in the lives of this young man. By taking a person centred and outcomes focused approach, you will get to know him as an individual, encourage his independence and help him recognise his potential while also building good trusting relationships with his family and Health & Social Care professionals.
