We are recruiting for two of our Local Care and Support Teams in Coatbridge. We have a several opportunities available. We are looking for two male* Team Members for 20 hours per week and two male or female Team Members for 16 hours per week.

Your normal hours of work will between 7.30 am and 10.30 pm, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Your rota will include a mix of shorter shifts and longer blocks of support.

As travel will be required throughout North Lanarkshire, it is essential that you hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

Based within our busy Community Support branch in North Lanarkshire, our teams provide support to several individuals throughout Coatbridge with different health and support needs. As part of our team, you will provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, preparing meals, medication assistance, shopping and other domestic tasks, such as managing personal finances. You will help the people we support to build upon their independent living skills, supporting them to maintain their home and access community-based activities.

In addition to providing direct support, as a Team Member within one of our pioneering self-organised teams, you will also take on additional responsibilities such as rota planning, local finance management, health and safety and the recruitment of new colleagues. You'll ideally have experience in the social care sector and have a SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent) to meet SSSC registration requirements. However, this is not essential; what's most important to us is that you can demonstrate the right attitude and values to make a real difference in the lives of the people we support. You'll receive all the training and support you need through our award-winning Training Academy, including the opportunity to complete your fully funded SVQ qualification.

If you're successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.
