Our amazing #TeamCraigewan in Peterhead are now on the lookout for a new *female colleague to join them on a part-time basis (25 hours). So, if you're caring and patient with a positive attitude, you could be just who we're looking for!

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. Your main aim will be to provide support to a lady who has autism and a personality disorder. For this opportunity, we're looking for someone who will appreciate the importance of providing consistency as the lady does have the potential to display behaviour that challenges, however we're confident that with consistency, training and professional input aims this will be kept to a minimum.

You'll assist with all aspects of this lady’s daily life including cooking, housework & finances. We'll also need you to be enthusiastic about supporting her with hobbies and interests too, these include arts & crafts, drawing, watching television and maintaining contact with her family on her iPad.

It would a bonus if you have experience in a caring and supportive role, however, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. It's not about what experience and qualifications you have, we're interested in what you as an individual will bring to our team. We have our own Training Academy who'll support you by giving you all the skills you'll need. We'll even put you through your SVQ too.

As we are dedicated to providing around the clock support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, shift will usually fall into patterns between the hours of 0700 - 2100 hours and will include weekend working on a rotational basis.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply Today! We'd love to hear from you.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a video interview on 5th March 2021.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

*For this position female is an Occupational Requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
