Are you an experienced, natural leader looking to take the next step in your career? Do you enjoy supporting your team to be the best they can be? Then apply now!

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individual to join our team in Inverbervie as a Team Leader on a part-time (20 hours), fixed term basis for two years.

West Park is a care home based in Inverbervie, which supports 4 people. Within this service, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the service, including line management of staff members..

You will have a track record of delivering high quality, person-centred support and ideally possess SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 7 (SVQ Level 3) or equivalent to meet SSSC registration requirements. The successful candidate will be required to complete a PDA in Management.

As a Team Leader, you will demonstrate the communication, organisational and interpersonal skills required to lead and inspire staff to deliver excellence in all aspects of their work and to collaborate with the wider multi-disciplinary team, families, carers and other stakeholders. This is a pivotal role in empowering the people we support to achieve their outcomes and succeed in their day-to-day lives.

Cornerstone provides a flexible, customer-led service, so you should be prepared to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake formal on-call duties on a rota basis.

In April 2017, Cornerstone entered a transformational stage as we begin our new Strategic Plan, Local Cornerstone. Over 3 years, we look to revolutionise social care delivery by introducing self-organised teams; not only improving the quality of the support we deliver but benefiting colleagues with greater autonomy and more professional development opportunities. We strive to change the way the health and social care sector is viewed in society and want our colleagues to be truly valued for the highly-skilled, life-changing work that they do every day.
